Thank You Berry Committee Members! I believe the reasons for the success of the Bremerton Blackberry Festival are the great committees we have. We have grown to about thirty committees; each having a number of volunteers. Over 200 people show up to make this festival "come alive" each year on the Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Our committee meets ten months of each year. Most of the members have been with the festival for several years, but as the word spreads of how much fun we have at our meetings and how nice everyone is, we have new people joining the committee each year. The festival is a lot of work and everyone devotes a great deal of time and effort to make it successful. All of us are in agreement, that it is the people involved that make it fun. As the festival grows, we welcome additional help.
